Happy New Year's

The trip was fun. Bangkok is a great city. Returning to Korea is very, very depressing, especially since I don't have a real holiday for the next seven months. I've got lots of unpacking to do--two new suits, t-shirts, jeans, ornamental stuff, liquor... a good haul, all in all. I've got lots more photos to upload once my camera is charged, and my friends have to get their pics to me as well, so it'll be a few days before I post anything substantial. Here are some photos of people and places in and around Koh Phangan and Bangkok. The mural-ish looking ones are, well, a mural--painted in large sections depicting certain events, usually battles, stretching perhaps seventy or eighty meters along one wall inside the Golden Palace temple that Jimmy and I visited.
